chili on the way!

as you know i've been running all sorts of plants through my power plants, both the mini and the pro.
one of my earlier tests was cited here with mixed leaf salad and a chili plant.
well, here is the result so far...very promising, there's actually a couple of flowers starting and i believe that means there'll be a chili or two soon!

I stumbled upon your blog while looking for some tips and tricks on using our little Power Plant. I just wanted to say thanks for keeping up with this blog. Fantastic photos and info - a great resource!

I stumbled upon your products and I think it's a more aesthetically pleasing version of the Aerogrow.
Since your Power Plant Mini doesn't have lights, does it require any power at all (for aeration etc)?
I'm interested in buying one.
Thanks.

hi Endorphins
thanks for the comment.

hi Ippo456
the mini is not sold with a lamp, it's designed to sit on a sunny window ledge. However, Prepara now offer a grow lamp designed specifically for the mini and also the pro...but it's great for other grow uses too!... just keeping your houseplants happy in winter..or seed starting in spring!

see the site and you'll now see the lamp for sale.
it comes with a bulb and a tray that can be used to hold other plants and pots

power is used to keep the nutrient recirculating and oxygenated.
